🍶 Otoso refers to the tradition of drinking sake on New Year’s Day. Otoso follows the order of youngest to oldest, to symbolize the younger members being absorbed by the older ones. Otoshidama refers to the tradition of giving lucky monetary gifts to childrens & relatives.
