TEPPANYAKI. THE FUSION OF ART AND CULINARY.
ound in World War II, Teppanyaki is meant to be a delicate symphony blended between Japanese fine culinary and Western performing art; in which “teppan” stands for steel, and “yaki” is merely a name given for all kinds of dishes cooked on pans.
When smoke arises from the giant teppan to stir up genuine aromas from different ingredients, the Teppanyaki masters get completely embraced. In front of guests’ admiring eyes, every movement of the cooking shovel is carefully calculated to create fascinating dishes.
The secret of this fine dining art lies beneath the teppan which ensure the balanced and unified temperature on all over its surface, letting out excess water in fresh ingredients yet keeping its natural deliciousness.
